I was riding on the bus this morning to Town Center and to the left of me was a charming looking lad holding what appeared to be an Art Folder. After a few intense minutes of wondering what was in the folder, i eventually worked up the nerve to ask him. He kindly showed me, and some of the things in that folder were just mind blowing.
Everyone in the world has the right to be artistic, it does not matter of your age nor your location. Everyone is unique and can be looked upon in many ways. Everyone is born with a creative potential, sometimes we are creative without knowing it, when you doodle at school in your workbook because the teacher is boring you, or when you decide to play with K’nex and make an awesome machine out of it. All these things are being creative and is a form of art.
When you think of a police officer, a graphics designer is usually not the first thing that comes to mind. In fact, the average person would never associate the two with one another. In today’s ever changing technological age, the two are really not that far apart.
Well the other day I was cruising through an elearning class about productive thinking, and the term “reproductive thinking” came up. I must admit that this is the first time I heard the phrase before, so for all those in a similar situation, I will share with you the meaning.
