I worked on this illustration especially for you with Ciursa Ionut, he is the founder of PSDBURN where he writes Photoshop tutorials. He started working in Photoshop many years ago when he began to utilize this great tool all the time. In this tutorial, you are going to create a story scene using photo manipulation and a lot of color adjustments.

A lot of people have asked how I do a lot of my characterizations and weird aliens, so I thought I’d finally sit down and write a tutorial.
I thought a fun image to focus on would be my “Face Off” image for the “Alien Nation 3” contest.
So here goes!

Photo manipulations are some of the coolest forms of artwork out there, and there are few people better at photo manipulations then Erik Johansson.  This Swedish photographer takes all of his pictures and then manipulates them into something out of Alice In Wonderland.  I would have to say his vision is one that few have, but all strive for, so sit back and enjoy his art work.
